Building bridges through story telling

Building bridges through stories

the globe

I wish I had a nice, cute story to tell that I one day woke up and realized that I wanted to work with solving climate change. The fact is though, I don’t have a day like that. I don’t have a moment that I can point to and say, “that’s when I decided to be a climate activist”. I am not even sure I am a climate activist...
I am not one who stands waving a placate at the front of demonstration. I am not someone who screams on social media. I am not protesting in front of a government building. Then who am I?
I am someone who is curious and wants to understand the Universe. I have always seen the world in a way that makes me feel wonder and amazement and I think that if more people could see what I see, the world would be a better place. With that said I don’t want to force a new perspective upon someone. I rather look for different ways to communicate, to tell stories, to create figures and to show them that there are other ways of looking at the world.
There is no better feeling in the world when you can see in the eyes of someone that you have managed to build a bridge and opened a new path for that person to explore on their own.

My name is Daniel and through my company, I am currently involved in two organisations and working together with them in developing new ways to communicate and talk about climate change.
